Anwar, Emon elected new BRUJA President, Secretary

RANGPUR, Feb 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Daily Campus correspondent Md Anwar Hossain 
and the Dainik Amar Desh correspondent Md Emon Ali have been elected as new 
President and General Secretary of Begum Rokeya University Journalists' 
Association (BRUJA) respectively. 
 
All seventeen members of BRUJA cast their votes in the general election of 
the nine-member executive committee for the 2025-2026 term held at its office 
(Cafeteria) in the university campus today. 
 
The other executive committee members elected are: Vice-president- Dainik 
Sangbad correspondent Md Abu Sayeed, Joint Editor- Dainik Janakantha 
Correspondent Md Kamruzzaman Pulak, Office and Publicity Secretary- Dainik 
Kaler Kantha correspondent Md Abul Khair Zayed and Treasurer- Campus Bangla 
Online Portal correspondent Al Amin Sadiq Sayem. 
 
In addition, Dainik Samakal correspondent Md Sajjadur Rahman, Education Times 
correspondent Md Azizur Rahman and Banglavision Campus correspondent Md 
Shariful Islam have been elected as executive members. 
 
A three-member Election Commission headed by the Chief Election Commissioner 
and Director of the Office of the Student Affairs of BRUR Professor Dr Md 
Ileas Pramanik conducted the election.

The other two members of the three-member election commission are: secretary 
of the estate department of BRUR Md Ali Hasan and former BRUJA executive 
committee member Md Mahfuzul Islam Bakul.
