DHAKA, Feb 7, 2025 (BSS) - Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

"Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during late night to early morning," said a release of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) this morning.

Night and day temperature may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius over the country, it added.

About the outlook for the next five days, night and day temperature may rise, the Met office predicted.

The Met office said a ridge of sub-continental high extends up to the West Bengal and adjoining western part of Bangladesh and seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 31.5 degree Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram Division and today's minimum temperature 10.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Ishwardi in Rajshahi Division.

The sun sets at 5.49 pm today and rises at 6.36 am tomorrow in the capital.
