Shaon, Saba released hours after interrogation

DHAKA, Feb 7, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of police released actresses Meher Afroz Shaon and Sohana Saba today after being interrogated at its office for several hours.

"Both of them were released to the custody of their respective families around 4pm today, Deputy Commissioner of DB Muhammad Talebur Rahman told BSS.

No case was filed against them, he confirmed.

Shaon was taken to DB office at Mintoo Road on Thursday while Saba was taken early Friday for interrogation.
