Air chief leaves for Saudi Arabia, UAE

DHAKA, Feb 8, 2025 (BSS) - Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan left Dhaka today for Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on a nine-day official visit.

The Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will visit Saudi Arabia from February 9-13 at the invitation of the Commander of Royal Saudi Air Force.

During the visit, Chief of Air Staff will visit different installations of Royal Saudi Air Force and make a courtesy call on with the Commander of Royal Saudi Air Force to discuss various bilateral issues of mutual interest.

Besides, he will also visit from February 14-15 at the invitation of Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. 

During this visit, the Chief of Air Staff will attend Air Staff Talk and Exchanging Training and Exercise including visiting different installations of United Arab Emirates Air Force and make a courtesy call on with the Commander of United Arab Emirates Air Force to discuss various bilateral issues of mutual interest.
 
It is expected that the visit of Chief of Air Staff will play a vital role for strengthening the bilateral relationship and enhance the scope of mutual cooperation in the professional sectors among Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
 
The Chief of Air Staff is expected to return home on February 16.
