CA greets Muslims on holy Shab-e-Barat

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser (CA) Professor Muhammad Yunus today greeted all Muslims in the country and elsewhere across the world on the occasion of the holy Shab-e-Barat, the night of fortune, to be observed tomorrow night (Friday).

"I extend my heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community of Bangladesh and the world on the occasion of the holy Shab-e-Barat," said Dr Yunus in a message.

Noting that this auspicious night brings the infinite mercy and blessings of the Almighty Allah to mankind, he said on this night, Allah shows the supreme glory of granting forgiveness and fulfilling prayers.

On this holy night, the infinite mercy and blessings of Allah are showered, he said, adding that through this glorious night, Muslims can secure closeness to the Almighty Allah through prayers. 

"We can achieve the infinite mercy, blessings, salvation and forgiveness of the Almighty Allah," Dr Yunus added.

The Chief Adviser urged all to dedicate themselves to the work of human welfare and nation building, being inspired by the significance of the holy Shab-e-Barat.

He called for avoiding all kinds of injustice, lawlessness, violence and superstition and rather establishing the spirit of Islam, also known as the religion of peace, at all levels of individual, social and national lives.

"May the Almighty Allah forgive and protect us all, Ameen," he said.
