DHAKA, Feb 2, 2025 (BSS) - The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today reiterated its offer for the city dwellers to get escort services for the safe and secured transportation of large sums of money during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.

"If any individual, bank or financial institution feels that they need police assistance to transfer a large amount of money, we will provide them with escort services," said a DMP press release.

The individual or organisation seeking police assistance is advised to contact the relevant police station, the police control room or the National Emergency Number 999, he said.

The numbers of the control room are-- 223381188, 0247119988, 029619999, 01320-037845 and 01320-037846.

If any individual or organisation seeking police escort service, they will have to arrange a vehicle, he said.

The DMP is offering the service as buying and selling, business, money transactions and transfers will increase during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.
