Govt. promotes 29 police inspectors as ASPs

DHAKA, Mar 2, 2025 (BSS) - The government today promoted police’s 29 town and traffic inspectors to the rank of assistant superintendent of police (ASP), the home ministry said a statement said.

According to the statement the officers who were inducted in Bangladesh Civil Service’s (BCS) police cadre as ASPs, were serving as police’s town and traffic inspectors.

  Under the notification they were attached to the police headquarters with directives to submit their joining letters to the senior secretary of the public security division of the home ministry through proper authority.
