Met office forecasts dry weather over country

DHAKA, Mar 5, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that weather may remain dry for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am today.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country", the BMD bulletin said.

Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may fall by (1-2) ø C over the country.

The BMD recorded country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius at Khepupara in Barishal division, while minimum temperature today was recorded 12.5 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur division.

The sun sets today at 06:03 pm and rises at 06:17 am  tomorrow in the capital.
