Dhaka, March 5, 2025 (BSS) - With an aim to create awareness among people about urological health and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment , a colorful rally was brought out on the BSMMU campus in the capital today, marking the Urology Day 2025.
The event was jointly organized by the Department of Urology and the Bangladesh Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
This year's theme was "Kidney Problem, Faith on Urologists."
BSMMU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Md. Shahinul Alam led the rally while Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) Md. Mujibur Rahman Hawlader attended the event as a special guest.
Speaking at the rally, the experts emphasized the importance of disease prevention and raising mass awareness about urological health.
Several distinguished faculty members participated in the event, including Urology Department Chairman Prof. Md. Sayedul Islam, Prof. Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman, Prof. Md. Saiful Islam, Assistant Prof. Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Prof. SM Yunus Ali, Assistant Prof. A S M Shafiul Azam, and Assistant Prof. Md. Nabid Alam.
