Fire at Shahbagh flower shop under control

DHAKA, April 5, 2025 (BSS) - The fire that broke out in a tin-shed flower shop at Shahbagh Intersection here tonight was brought under control with one hour of frantic efforts.

The fire originated around 9:53 pm, media officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Talha bin Zasim told BSS.

Five fire units from Palashi and Siddiq Bazar fire stations rushed to the scene and doused the flame at 10:55 pm, he said.

There was report of casualty.

The extent of damage and cause behind the fire could not be known immediately.
