'World Autism Awareness Day' on April 22

DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - The 18th World Autism Awareness Day-2025 will be observed on April 22 in the country. 

Marking the world autism day, the programme will hold at 10am on April 22 at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium here, an official release said today. 

Social Welfare Advisor Sharmin S. Murshid is expected the programme as the chief guest. 

Every year, World Autism Awareness Day is observed on April 2 but the autism awareness day was not celebrated on the day due to Eid-ul-Fitr holiday.  

This year's theme of the day is "Welcoming Neuro diversity, Building a Sustainable Society."
