Education adviser urges youths to build a world based on peace, tolerance, justice

DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS)- Education Advisor Professor Dr CR Abrar has urged the youths to build a world based on peace, tolerance and justice.
 
“The doors of possibilities are opening through new technologies while global intolerance, extremism and narrow-mindedness are becoming challenges on the path to great achievements. The youths will have to face these challenges and built a new world with their talent, skills and hard work,” he added.
 
The education adviser made this call at the 24th convocation ceremony of the East West University at the Aftabnagar playground in the capital today.
 
At the convocation, the education adviser, as the representative of the university Chancellor, presented degrees to the students.
 
A total of 2,885 undergraduate and postgraduate students were awarded certificates. In addition, six talented students were awarded gold medals.
 
National Security Adviser and Chief Adviser’s High Representative Dr Khalilur Rahman, Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Dr S M A Faiz, Apex Group Managing Director Syed Nasim Manjur, University Board of Trustees President Professor Dr Mohammad Farashuddin, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shams Rahman and Pro-Vice Chancellors, members of the Board of Trustees of the East West University, treasurer, deans of various faculties, chairpersons of various departments, teachers, officers, employees, graduates and their guardians were present at the event.
