National Security Adviser discusses regional peace, security with US delegation

DHAKA, April 17, 2025 (BSS) - A visiting US delegation met National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman here today. 

In an hour-long meeting, they discussed major regional issues of peace and security and key aspects of bilateral relations between Bangladesh and US. 

The US delegation included Deputy Assistant Secretaries of State Nicole A. Chulick and Andrew Herrup. 

They also discussed the Rohingya issue and the situation in Myanmar at length. 

The US delegation expressed appreciation for the approach of Bangladesh to address the issue.
