MAGURA, April 18, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam today dismissed rumours of shutting down the Magura Medical College.

During a visit to the college this morning, he assured teachers and students that the government has no intention of closing, relocating to, or affiliating the medical college with other institutions.

He came up with the remarks when teachers and students raised concerns over the future of the college.

The Magura deputy commissioner, the principal of the college, and teachers and students were present.

Alam said he is well-informed about the college's academic progress, describing it as satisfactory.

He encouraged the students to stay focused on their studies, become responsible citizens, and contribute to the country.
