DHAKA, April 25, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) conducted a mosquito control and special cleaning drive in Dhanmondi residential area today.

Local Government Division Secretary Md Rezaul Maksud Jahedi was present as the chief guest in the drive. 

In the presence of DSCC Administrator Md Shahjahan Mia, the Waste Management Department, Health Department and Dhanmondi Society participated in this special cleaning drive.

A total of 450 cleaning workers from the Waste Management Department, 50 mosquito control workers from the Health Department, 100 volunteers from the Red Crescent Society, 50 from BD Clean and 50 volunteers from Dhanmondi Society participated in this cleaning drive. 

By dividing the Dhanmondi residential area into seven zones, mosquito control and cleanliness drives were carried out on the main road, lake, park, mosque and adjacent areas to Eidgah.
