DHAKA, April 27, 2025, (BSS) - A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held tomorrow to review the information on the appearance of the new moon of the holy month of Zilqad, the 11th month of the Islamic calendar, of 1,446 Hijri.

The meeting scheduled to be held at 6:30pm at the meeting room of Ashkona Hazi Camp.

Religious Affairs Adviser and National Moon Sighting Committee President Dr AFM Khalid Hossain will preside over the meeting, said a press release.

People have been requested to inform the relevant district administrator or the Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNO) over telephone or fax if the moon of the holy Zilqad month is seen anywhere on the sky of the country.
