Quality education crucial for national progress: BRUR VC

RANGPUR, April 29, 2025 (BSS) - Vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Professor Dr. Md. Showkat Ali has said quality education and ethical values are essential for the overall progress of the country and nation.
 
"It is very important to simultaneously develop moral and human qualities among students through quality education," he said while addressing a workshop titled 'Ethical Principles of University Teaching' as the chief guest today.
 
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university organised the workshop for the teachers of different departments in the virtual classroom of the Academic Building-2 on the campus. 
 
Director of IQAC, Professor Dr. Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, spoke as a special guest at the workshop.
 
Presided over by IQAC Director Professor Dr. Md. Tajul Islam, Director of IQAC, chaired the workshop, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman addressed the event as a special guest.
 
Additional Directors of IQAC Dr. Md. Abdul Latif and Dr. Md. Abdur Rakib also spoke.
 
The Vice-chancellor hoped that this workshop would further enrich the teachers, as well as help in developing human and moral qualities and values among students and everyone in the society.
