Maiden Chinese calligraphy exhibition begins in city

DHAKA, April 29, 2025 (BSS) - The first-ever Chinese calligraphy exhibition has begun in the capital marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and China. 

The seven-day exhibition was officially inaugurated at the Nalini Kanta Bhattasali Exhibition Hall of the National Museum here today.

The Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center and the Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka jointly organized the exhibition.

Chinese Embassy Attach‚ Sun and Bangladesh-China Friendship Center General Secretary HM Jahangir Alam Rana were present at the opening ceremony.
