Bogura records season's highest rainfall

BOGURA, May 19, 2025 (BSS) - The district has recorded 34 millimeters of rainfall from 6am to 9am today, the highest rainfall of this season.

The Bogura Meteorological Office, a regional observatory under the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), confirmed that this is the highest [record]
rainfall of this season.

Shah Alam, senior observer of the Bogura Regional Office, said that 34 millimeters of rain was recorded in Bogura in three hours from 6 am to 9 am and this is the highest rainfall record of this season.

He said, "The temperature in Bogura has decreased due to the rain. As a result, the sweltering heat has been eliminated."

There is a possibility of rain in Bogura today and tomorrow, the official added.
