SUST goes on 21-day Eid, summer vacation

SYLHET, May 25, 2025 (BSS)- Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) is scheduled to go on a 21-day vacation on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha and summer break.

The vacation started today and ends on June 14, said a press release published on the official website of the university today.
 
All classes will be closed from May 25 to June 12 in observance of the summer vacation and Holy Eid-ul-Azha. However, with June 13 and 14 being Friday and Saturday, students will effectively receive a total of 21 days of vacation, it added.
 
The press release also stated that offices of the university will remain closed from June 1 to June 12 and those will be open from May 25 to May 27 as per the university calendar.

Mentionable, the university calendar originally allotted 12 days for the summer vacation which was reduced by five days to seven days aiming to alleviate session delays at the SUST.
