DHAKA, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 115 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, 68 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 22 in Chattogram, eight in Dhaka North, 12 in Dhaka South, one in Khulna, one in Rajshahi and three were admitted to different hospitals in Mymensingh," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 3,972, while 23 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 101,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
