26 dengue patients hospitalized in last 24 hrs

DHAKA, June 7, 2025 (BSS) - Twenty six dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during last 24 hours till this morning.

“During the period, three patients were hospitalised in Chattogram, 10 in Dhaka division, four in Dhaka North, seven in Dhaka South and two were admitted to different hospitals in Mymensingh,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of the case rose to 4,930 while 23 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Besides, 17 dengue patients were released from different hospitals in the last 24 hours.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from the  disease were reported, the statement added.
