3 more Covid-19 cases reported in country

DHAKA, June 8, 2025 (BSS) - Country reported three more Covid-19 cases out of four in last 24 hours till this morning.

With the new number, the country's total Covid-19 caseload rose to 20,51,742 according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

It said that six people have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. As a result, the number has reached 20,19, 363. No one has died from COVID-19 during this period.

The official death toll from the disease remained unchanged at 29,500.

The daily case test positivity rate was 75 percent as four samples were tested, said the DGHS.

The first case of Coronavirus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. Ten days later, on March 18 of the same year, the first person died from the virus in the country.
