DHAKA, June 18, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 212 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

“During the period, 110 were hospitalised in Barishal, 16 in Chattogram, 23 in Dhaka division, 17 in Dhaka North, 33 in Dhaka South, one in Mymensingh and 12 were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 6,678, while 30 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
