DHAKA, June 20, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 151 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, 86 were hospitalised in Barishal division, 15 in Chattogram, 17 in Dhaka division, 18 in Dhaka North, 10 in Dhaka South, three in Khulna and two were hospitalized in Rajshahi division," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 7,077, while 30 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

A total of 6,218 persons were released from hospitals till now.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
