DMP files 1995 more cases for traffic law violations

DHAKA, July 1, 2025 (BSS) - Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police 
(DMP) on Monday filed 1995 more cases against traffic law violators in 
different areas of the capital. 

In addition, 311 vehicles were dumped and 82 vehicles were wrecked during the 
operations, said a police press release.

The DMP Traffic Division conducted operations in different areas of the 
capital and filed these cases to maintain traffic discipline in the Dhaka 
metropolitan areas.
