DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS) – Education Ministry Adviser Prof. Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar today asked the authorities concerned, particularly the NCTB, to make sure that error-free textbooks reach students at the beginning of the year.

“We will provide you all necessary assistance to make sure that flawless and accurate test books reach the students,” he said as the chief guest at a four-day workshop held at the Abdul Jabbar Auditorium in the NCTB building, Motijheel here.

The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) organised the four-day workshop that began on June 30 and will continue till July 3.

Chairman of the NCTB Prof. Robiul Kabir Chowdhury said they are committed to reach quality, error free and time worthy textbooks.

The Chairman said that the draft textbooks prepared for the 2026 academic year were presented in the meeting of the National Curriculum Coordination Committee held on May 29.

More than 40 experienced teachers from across the country participated in the workshop to correct errors in school textbooks -- from sixth to ninth grade students -- in secondary schools across the country.
