BGB seizes huge smuggled goods in Cumilla

CUMILLA, Nov 08, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today seized huge Indian smuggled goods worth about Taka 1.65 crore from border area of Brahmanpara upazila of the district.

BGB Sultanpur Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ziaur Rahman said on a tip-off, a team of BGB raided in the area and seized different types of Indian goods including sarees and three-pieces from the spot.

None was arrested in this connection.
