Govt. decides scrap decision to observe ‘New Bangladesh Day’

DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS) - The government today decided to not to observe ‘New Bangladesh Day’ on August 8 by withdrawing an earlier issued circular towards that end.

A Cabinet Division in a gazette notification asked all concerned ministries, departments and organizations to follow the revised decision.

The same notification scrapped an earlier Cabinet Division circular relating to the observance of the day.
