CA greets women's footballers for qualifying for 2026 Asian Cup finals

DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today congratulated the Bangladesh women's football team for their historic success in qualifying for the 2026 Asian Cup finals for the first time. 

In a congratulatory message, he said: "This achievement is not only a source of pride for women's football, but also for the entire nation; it is a unique example of our potential, talent and indomitable spirit". 

The Chief Adviser hoped that this success would inspire future generations and further enhance Bangladesh's status in international arena.
