DHAKA, July 3, 2025 (BSS) - Water levels at 39 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise while 74 stations recorded fall.

Among the 119 monitored river stations, water levels at six stations have remained steady while no stations are flowing above the danger level, a bulletin issued by the FFWC said here today.

The FFWC bulletin said the water level of the Surma River is decreasing, while the water level of the Kushiyara River remains stable. This condition may persist for the next 24 hours. 

On the second and third days, the water levels of these rivers may rise. On the third day, water levels in these rivers may flow at the caution level in Sylhet district. 

The water level of the Teesta River is rising, and this trend may continue for the next 24 hours. It may remain stable for the following two days. In the next 24 hours, the Teesta River may flow at the caution level in Nilphamari, Rangpur, and Lalmonirhat districts. 
 
The water levels of the Brahmaputra and Jamuna rivers are decreasing; this trend may continue for the next two days. However, the rivers are expected to continue flowing below the danger level.

The water level of the Ganges River remains stable and may rise over the next five days. On the other hand, the water level of the Padma River is decreasing, and this trend may continue for the next two days.
