DHAKA, July 4, 2025 (BSS) - In the nationwide ongoing operations, 1487 more crime suspects were arrested and seven firearms and ammunition were seized in the last 24 hours.

Accordance to a Police Headquarters press release, of the 1487 arrestees, 1015 were apprehended in previous cases and pending warrants while 472 others on various criminal charges.

One 7.62mm China SMG, foreign pistol, four single barrel guns, one revolver, one shooter gun, several ammunition and sharp weapons were seized during the operation.
