JU Career Club gets new committee

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, July 18, 2025 (BSS) - The Jahangirnagar University Career Club (JUCC) has announced its newly formed executive committee for the upcoming term.

The announcement came tonight at a programme held at the seminar room of the Zahir Raihan Auditorium.

Intekhab Fardin Turjo of the Marketing Department has been elected president, while Abdullah Al Noman of the Economics Department as general secretary.

Key posts in the committee include Aminul Islam (vice president - administration), Shahar Sheetal (vice president - operations), Abdullah Tahmid Tashin (assistant general secretary), and Shafin Al Hasan (treasurer).

Musaddiq Hossain, Rafia Afroze Raka, and Sadia Sarna have been made organizing secretaries, with Saida Samia Ashraf Oishi as communication secretary and Afia Anjum Prova as publication secretary.

Corporate affairs will be managed by Arpon Samaddar (external) and Sadat Noor (internal), while Atif Hossain will act as event management secretary.

The Human Resource division will be overseen by Irtija Imroz (talent acquisition) and A S M Mashrur Raihan Sakib (people engagement). IT secretaries are Nazmus Salehin Naeem (technical) and Maliha Nur Medha (creative). Mubasshira Mahbub will serve as learning and development secretary, with Abu Shama Jumayel as education and development secretary.

Executive members include Nayla Binte Azad, Jerin Hasan Priya, Tashfia Rashid, Mahjabeen, Afroze Mishu, and Md. Abu Bakar Siddique.

Besides, eight coordinators have been appointed for various faculties and wings - Maeesha Jahin (business studies), Masrat Tasnim Prapti (arts), Gaurav Gop (science), Jerin Tasnim Promi (social sciences), Naimur Rahman Shipon (event management), Md. Golam Rabbi (HR), Jemimah Bose (corporate affairs), and Afia Tuz Zannat Orin (communication and publication).

Established on February 6, 2014, JU Career Club was founded by a group of aspiring students with a vision to promote professional excellence on campus.
