DHAKA, July 23, 2025 (BSS) - US Charge d'affaires Tracey Ann Jacobson today met Mostofa Sarwar Farooki at his office at the Secretariat here.

During the meeting, fruitful discussions were held on cultural cooperation, cultural group exchanges between the two countries, and film training workshops for Bangladeshi youth to strengthen the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and the United States, said a press release.

The Cultural Adviser highlighted the initiatives and action plans taken by his ministry to build an inclusive Bangladesh.

The Adviser welcomed and assured necessary cooperation when the US Charg‚ d'Affaires expressed her interest in undertaking various programs with Bangladesh to mark the 250th anniversary of US independence.
