Mujibur Rahman gets charge for routine duties of education secretary

DHAKA, July 24, 2025 (BSS) - Additional Secretary (Colleges) Md Mujibur Rahman has been given the charge for routine duties of the secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education.

Education ministry issued an office order in this regard today.

The office order said Additional Secretary Md Mujibur Rahman will perform the routine duties as the secretary until a new secretary joins the Secondary and Higher Education Division.

On Wednesday (July 23), a notification was issued withdrawing Senior Secretary (Contractual) Siddique Zubair amid student protests.
