Special prayers held for Uttara air crash victims

DHAKA, July 25, 2025 (BSS) - Special prayers were held in all mosques in the country after Jummah prayers today seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of those killed in the Bangladesh Air Force jet crash into Milestone School and College in Uttara on Monday.


As part of the programme, a milad and doa mahfil was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital.


Prayers were also offered at other religious places of worship.
 

Earlier on Thursday, the council of advisers at a meeting took the decision of holding prayers on Friday.
