DHAKA, July 28, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has visited writer, Marxist-Leninist politician and Jatiya Mukti Council President Badruddin Umar in the hospital.

The BNP Secretary General visited the distinguished politician at the United Hospital in Gulshan in the capital this afternoon. 

The party's media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.

During this time, he sat next to Badruddin and inquired about his health from doctors and family members and offered prayers on behalf of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
