DHAKA, July 29, 2025 (BSS) - The United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council (HRC) Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Execution Dr. Morris Tidball-Binz today paid a courtesy call on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam. 
 
He met the police chief IGP at the Police Headquarters this morning, said a press release of the Police Headquarters. 
 
During the meeting, issues related to the forensic lab, autopsy, etc. were discussed.
 
The IGP said at the time that Bangladesh Police is striving to implement the law with utmost importance on human rights.
 
Additional IGP (Crime and Ops) Khondoker Rafiqul Islam, Additional IGP (CID) Md. Sibgat Ullah, DIG (Confidential) Md. Kamrul Ahsan and Additional DIG (Special Crime Management and NRB Affairs) Md. Ashik Sayeed were present.
