DHAKA, Aug 06, 2025 (BSS) -Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am.

Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over the North Bay, said a MET office press release here today.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature on Yesterday (Tuesday) recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius in Chandpur, while today's minimum temperature was 22.4 degrees Celsius in Tangail.

The sun sets at 6:39 pm today and rises at 5:31 am tomorrow in the capital.
