RAJSHAHI, Aug 6, 2025 (BSS)- A daylong 'career quiz 2.0' was held at Rajshahi 
University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) aimed at supporting and 
inspiring its students to select careers. 
 
Society of Process Engineering under the Department of Chemical Engineering 
organised the event opened by its Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor SM Abdur 
Razzaque as the chief guest.

With Chairman of Chemical Engineering Department Prof Nurur Rahman in the 
chair, the opening ceremony was addressed, among others, by Dean of 
Mechanical Engineering Faculty Prof Nurul Islam, Registrar Arif Ahmed 
Chowdhury and Students Welfare Director Prof Rabiul Islam.

A total of six famous organisations joined the quiz and they received 
curriculum vitae from the students and after scrutiny they selected their 
opted manpower.

Speaking on the occasion, VC Prof Abdur Razzaque said this type of event is 
very supportive towards selecting the career of the students. Job-providers 
are coming here to get their skilled manpower, he added. 

"As a result, the graduate students don't remain idle after completing 
academic life," the VC concluded.
