DHAKA, Aug 19, 2025 (BSS) - Land Ministry Senior Secretary ASM Saleh Ahmed today said Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is revolutionizing healthcare, transportation, business, education, entertainment, agriculture and many other fields and the government's land services are also joining this revolution.

"AI is playing an important role in various fields in the present era. Accurate information can be obtained through AI in land management. Currently, AI has become an integral part of our daily lives. With the advancement of technology, AI is making our lives easier, faster and more effective," he said.

He made these remarks at the inauguration of a 'learning session' titled 'Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Land Services and Providing Ideas about Block Chain' at the meeting room of the Ministry of Land here.

Ahmed said the system will easily find out the solutions to any problem that the common people need, including land laws, if artificial intelligence technology is incorporated into the land information system. The Ministry of Land is working to provide services through an artificial intelligence-based portal to make land-related knowledge and all types of information available to everyone, he added.

Land Reforms Board Chairman (Secretary) ASM Salauddin Nagri, Additional Secretaries Md Shariful Islam, Md. Abdur Rouf, Md. Emdadul Haque Chowdhur and Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, among others, were present at the event.
