Coordination team stressed to speed up Social Welfare Ministry's work

DHAKA, Aug 20, 2025 (BSS) - The newly-appointed Secretary for Social Welfare 
Ministry Dr Mohammad Abu Yousuf today stressed the need for establishing a 
dedicated coordination team in the ministry to increase its working speed.

"We want to work through a coordination team so that the working speed of the 
ministry would enhance more than the speed is moving on," he said.

The newly-appointed secretary said this while addressing an introduction and 
view-exchange meeting with senior officials and employees of the ministry at 
its conference room.

"We want cooperation from all to reach the entire services of the Social 
Welfare Ministry at the door steps of the countrymen and distressed people," 
said Dr M Abu Yousuf.

"I want to establish the good will of the ministry through working efforts 
and want cooperation from all to ensure the peoples service quickly abiding 
all legal bindings," he added.

"The room assigned for my duties will always be accessible for you all," the 
secretary said, adding that the staff of the ministry must ensure the 
accuracy of the work after disposing of the files as early as possible.

"You work fearlessly here and my overall cooperation will continue. I always 
want to learn from you," he expressed this hope while exchanging views with 
other officials and staff of the ministry.
