No new COVID-19 cases reported in Bangladesh in last 24 hrs

DHAKA, Aug 30, 2025 (BSS)– According to the Health Department, no new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, from 8 am on Friday to 8 am on Saturday. 

During this period, a total of 20 samples were tested, with a detection rate of zero percent for COVID-19.

There have been no new fatalities attributed to the virus during the same time frame. 

Since January 2025, a total of 32 individuals died of COVID-19 in the country. 

Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the death toll from COVID-19 in Bangladesh has reached 29,531.
