BNP to gift house to Golapi

DHAKA, April 16, 2026 (BSS) - Golapi Begum, who has been living on the footpath in Shahbagh, is set to receive a new house as a gift from Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

A delegation led by Adviser to 'Amra BNP Poribar' Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul will inaugurate the house construction work, according to a press release issued by Amra BNP Poribar today.

The programme will be held at Ratanpur village under Ratanpur union in Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district at 4 pm tomorrow (April 17). 

Member of Parliament for Brahmanbaria-5 (Nabinagar upazila) Advocate Abdul Mannan, along with local leaders, is expected to be present at the event.

All concerned have been requested to attend the programme.
