DHAKA, Sept 5, 2025 (BSS) - A total Eclipse of the Moon will occur on September 7,  2025.

This eclipse will be visible in Bangladesh from beginning to end if the sky remains clear, said an ISPR release on Thursday.

The moon will enter penumbra at 9:27pm (Bangladesh Time) and enter totality at 11:30pm on September 7 while leave penumbra at 2:56am on September 8.

The sighting will begin at 9:27 pm in Dhaka division and Mymensingh, 9:20pm at Chattogram, 9:21pm at Sylhet, 9:29pm at Khulna, 9:26pm at Barishal, 9:34pm at Rajshahi and 9:33pm at Rangpur division, the release added.
