July warriors-martyrs families to be rehabilitated-Faruk-e-Azam

DHAKA, Sept 07, 2025 (BSS)- Liberation War Affairs Adviser Faruk-e-Azam Bir Pratik today said that the July warriors and members of the martyred families would be rehabilitated properly and in view of this they would be given occupational training.

“The Liberation War Affairs Ministry has introduced monthly allowances for the July warriors and martyrs’ families,” he said.

The adviser was addressing an inter-ministerial meeting on the rehabilitation and wellbeing of the July warriors and martyrs’ families in the ministry.

Everyone should come forward for proper evaluation of the July warriors and martyrs keeping the July sprit in mind, he said.

The Liberation War Affairs Ministry has already formed committees in all districts and upazilas for the rehabilitation and welfare of the July martyrs, he said adding that the committees would take necessary measures in this regard.

The adviser assured the injured persons of July Uprising proper treatment at home and abroad saying a total of 78 July warriors have already been sent abroad for better treatment.

The meeting was told that a total of Taka 147.92 crore has already been disbursed among 12,043 July warriors from the ministry.

Secretary of the Housing and Public Works Ministry, Secretary of Science and Technology Ministry and other concerned officials, were present.
