'Natun Kuri' a big platform for children, adolescent: Info Secy

DHAKA, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana today said the 'Natun Kuri' competition is a big platform for exploring talents of children and adolescents. 

"The ministry and BTV authorities are working sincerely to make this competition transparent and inclusive," she told a day-long workshop on the occasion of 'Natun Kuri-2025' competition at Tathya Bhaban in the city.

Highlighting the role of the 'Natun Kuri' competition among the children and adolescents, Farjana said that many talented artistes have been created through this competition. 

She hoped that many talented artistes will also be created from the stage of 'Natun Kuri' in the future. 

As per the instructions of the Information and Broadcasting Adviser, Mahbuba Farzana said that the officials of the ministry and BTV are working tirelessly to make the competition a success. The district administration has an important role in organizing this competition, she added. 

She urged the additional deputy commissioners who came to the workshop to provide cooperation in organizing the competition smoothly.

Regarding the objective of the workshop, the Information and Broadcasting Secretary said that in this workshop, an action plan will be prepared for the successful implementation of the competition. 

She sought cooperation of all concerned to make this competition a success. 

BTV Director General Md. Mahbubul Alam and Deputy Director General Mohammad Rokon Uddin, among others, addressed the workshop.
