Asif Nazrul mourns death of Badruddin Umar

DHAKA, Sept 07, 2025 (BSS) - Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of prominent writer, researcher and Jatiya Mukti Council President Badruddin Umar.

In a message of condolence, the Adviser prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.

Badruddin Umar breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a city hospital today at the age of 94. He had been suffering from old-age complications for a long time.
