Consensus Commission holds meeting to review expert opinions

DHAKA, Sept 08, 2025 (BSS) - The National Consensus Commission today held a meeting in its office at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban to review expert opinions on implementing the July National Charter 2025.

The opinions and suggestions received from experts in the meeting held last Sunday were also reviewed at the meeting. Simultaneously, the opinions given by the political parties on this issue were also analyzed, said a press release. 

The commission has decided to formally discuss the issue with the political parties.

Commission Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, members Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Safar Raj Hossain and Dr. Md. Ayub Mia and Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Manir Haidar were present in the meeting.
