31.9pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 7

DHAKA, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 31.9 percent reaching US$771 million in the first seven days of September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $585 million.
 
During the July 2025 to September 7, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $5,671 million, which was $4,722 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
